Andrew Herz was arrested on Sunday, Jan. 5 after Greenwich Police responded to Flower Lane after the Lyft driver called police to report Herz had shattered his back window, Greenwich Police said.

An investigation by police found that Herz engaged in a verbal argument with the driver after the driver refused to provide him service, police said.

Herz then allegedly picked up loose gravel from his driveway and threw it at the rear of the Lyft driver's vehicle, shattering the window, police said.

He was charged with breach of peace and criminal mischief and issued a summons to appear in court on Monday, Jan. 20.
